Overview of Professional Services Offered

Professional Services

Our professional services are practical, experiential and action-based learning because we recognise that best results come from this approach to investing in people. Programs are customised to specific clients and their situation.

  • Board Development

Director roles can be isolated and boards complex and challenging.

    • Peer Coaching. A small group of directors is formed for reflection and a sounding board with others in similar roles (Directors, Chairs of Boards). This is also an opportunity to refine practices in quality conversations, coaching and collaboration. These are facilitated conversations across sectors, industries and regions.

  • Executive Development

Leaders are life-long learners and it can be lonely at the top.

    • 1:1 Executive coaching. A series of confidential conversations with an executive to shape and enhance the experience in the role.
    • Peer Coaching. A small group of executives is formed for reflection and a sounding board with others in similar roles (CEs, Managing Directors). This is also an opportunity to refine practices in coaching and collaboration. These are facilitated conversations across sectors, industries and regions.
    • Leading Change. As the executive champion of a strategic or tactical initiative, you have a necessary role in holding the vision, designing the process, engaging key stakeholders and communicating beyond decision-making about what the outcome is and ensuring resources. Clients have said I am in unfamiliar territory; this conversation is about shaping the role, thinking and approach that works well for you.

  • Leadership Development

    • 1:1 Leadership coaching. A series of confidential conversations with high potential leaders focused on 2 – 3 areas that impact success and satisfaction in the current role or prepare for success in a future role.
    • Peer Coaching. A small group of leaders reflect on their leadership practice, successes and dilemmas followed by a response from others in similar roles (Leaders, Managers, Professionals). An opportunity to refine practices in building trust, feedback, active listening, agreements, conflict and collaboration. These are facilitated conversations in-house or across sectors and industries.

  • Organisation Development & Transformation

    • Leader as Coach. Leaders who have capability in a visionary and coaching style routinely are most successful. All leaders and managers increasingly benefit from coaching skills in working with clients, employees, and suppliers as well as with executives and board members. These experiential workshops focus on the shift from a “tell and sell” approach to an “engage and enable” approach. When delivered in-house a learning and accountable culture develops.
    • Coaching for Professionals. As the demand for services with an accelerated and measureable outcome grows while building effective relationships, professionals require specific skills to engage their clients, patients, students etc. Further they need to influence executives, board members and other professionals without necessarily having power or authority. This experiential workshop focuses on the shift from a “tell and sell” approach to an “engage and enable” approach; how to get people to do things because they want to. When delivered in-house a learning and accountable culture develops.
    • The Leadership Incubator© a hands-on, experiential learning experience for high-potential leaders to practice strategic thinking, integration across key business functions and leading change while developing their leadership style and approach with a real and relevant strategic goal. A combination of 1:1 leadership coaching, peer group coaching and workshops over 9 – 12 months.
    • Leading Change: Applying our well-proven, creative and inclusive methodology to realise dramatic, positive results for customers, the organization, operation and financials. Concurrently working with the executive team on the future direction and KPIs; management team on scenarios and performance systems; and front-line employees on the workflow, equipment, information, training and structure to deliver products and services. Designing and implementing small-scale experiments to test and measure new approaches for rapid development and learning with accelerated implementation and results.
    • Culture Synchronization: A practical and applied series of workshops to identify desired culture, develop skills and practices and embed in day-to-day workplace.
    • Innovative Leadership: When your team needs to stretch their thinking and be innovative while acknowledging concerns about risk as well and ensuring implementation while business continues, this workshop applies the process of innovation and design-thinking preferably with a real and relevant issue.
    • Working Effectively with Authoritarian Personalities: As an executive leader, authoritarian personalities and styles are likely part of your board, management team and professional group. This workshop (or confidential 1:1 conversation) develops understanding, confidence and practices in working effectively with people who (perhaps in being unaware) dominate, pace-set, drive, command and control to the detriment of relationships, culture and the organization.
